The Steve Dahl Audio Vault just turned 1 year old! Our little historical tribute site to the Stever has continued to grow and pick up fans from all over the world. We even have military personnel overseas that come here for a dose of Dahl. We also recently got a mention in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel along with numerous other blogs and audio sites.
The feedback has been great. Thanks to all. Especially to those who have sent tapes and audio files.
We started this when Steve was off the air and thought it would be a good way to fill in the gap until he got back on radio. As you know, now you can hear Steve’s DahlCast 5 days a week at dahl.com.
So, what could your birthday gift be for me? Comments please. I would love some feedback for the site. Tell us how were doing. What you would like to hear more or less of. And, any suggestions you might have.
We’ll keep things going until we run out of material or Steve tells us to stop. (We hear that SD may start a paid archive site. In that case, I’m sure we would be asked to discontinue what we are doing.)
Until then… “Your beautiful, don’t ever change. And, don’t forget to PARTY!! Hard. Do bongs.”

I have enjoyed SD for years. This site has provided me with flashbacks of great memories from the early years, and glimpses into everything I’ve missed since leaving the Midwest in the mid-80′s. Thanks for all you do.
And if SD creates a paid archive site, I hope he realizes the passion that goes into The Stever Vault and allows us fans continue to share our favorite moments with the world.

Hey, congrats, it’s been fun re-living all these classic moments. That’s pretty sweet on getting the mention in the Milwaukee paper, even if the guy said it was WLUM (a combo of WLS and WLUP?) and he spelled Garry’s name wrong (funny!) but it’s cool that he put a link there.
I really hope that Steve ‘opens up the archives’ but as Zack said I also hope he realizes that he has a couple of great resources between your site and The Original Shock Jock You Tube channel. Both sites started during Steve’s forced off-time and both have seemed to gain in popularity. Hell, even if he took them over in some way it would be better than them just disappearing altogether.
Thanks for posting this. I heard about when Steve did characters but never actually heard audio until now. Dahl is a creative genius.
