First a quick note: Thanks to several fans of this site, I have received a good handful of Steve & Garry audio both in mp3 and cassette form over the past few weeks. Sam Kinison was a frequent visitor of the Steve Dahl Show and would never disappoint. Great stories, awesome jokes and of course, the laugh.
In this audio piece Sam visits Steve & Garry on WLUP-AM 1000 during his 1989 comedy tour playing the Holiday Star in Indiana. This show was broadcast May 17, 1989. It is presented in two parts.

Awesome! What else can I say? Good to hear this. (Someone mentioned it to me on the YT site but I never heard from them again, great to hear it here!) Sam with Steve & Garry was always a blast, and Sam was much more relaxed than he was on Howard Stern’s show, and therefore I think much funnier (there’s too much stress on Howard’s show sometimes, just my opinion even though I do like the guy.)
I think that, sadly, this may be one of the last Sam Kinison appearances, though I seem to remember one in 90 or 91 but I don’t have it or remember exactly when it was. Maybe someone will send it in!
Looking forward to the new stuff that’s been sent in too, keep up the good work.
